The Realiability of Information
I was nice to meet with you on-line on Tuesday. We began a historical writing project on ancient weaponry.
This week we began our research and asked three questions about whether or not the information we found on-line was good enough for our purposes. We asked:
1. Does it seems to be written by an expert? Ca you look up the organization or person who wrote it?
2. Is it about our topic, especially the kind of information about the topic we want?
3. Is it written in language we can understand easily?
This week I’d like you to assess another website. This one is about the use of clouds of dust
in ancient warfare:
Please read this article and answer the above questions about it before we meet next week. We’ll use the information in our writing next Tuesday.
Let me know if you have any questions.
